“We work for a strong local community, and with that comes a patchwork economy that must constantly be developed and tested in collaboration with local stakeholders in light of the major issues of our time,” says Frido Hinde, Director of the international cultural center Internationales Kulturcentrum ufaFabrik e.V. in Berlin.
ufaFabrik is a user-driven, non-governmental, non-profit cultural center in Berlin, founded in 1979. From 2019 to 2025, Frido was a board member of the European cultural organization Trans Europe Halles and is currently a board member of Berlin Association of Independent Performing Arts Organizations (LAFT).
Meet Frido Hinde at Kulturkraft26 and gain concrete insights into how international cultural centers develop their fan bases and revenue models in collaboration with their local communities.
